Our answering service answers all other calls after these hours.

New patients - To be seen by one of our physicians our practice requires that you are referred by a doctor regardless of health insurance. After your physican has referred you to our practice either by phone or fax, you may call our office to schedule an appointment or our office will contact you directly.

Referral form - This is for our referring physician's offices to use when they need to fax a referral on a patient to be scheduled by one of our doctors. You can find this form under Patients->Forms on our website or click here for the form.

Established patients - You may contact our office directly to schedule any appointment.

When a patient or doctors office calls in to schedule, the office is required to obtain all health insurance information at that time. Please have insurance cards available when calling.

Please notify our office if you have a change of address, phone number or insurance provider.

Our practice receives a large volume of calls. If you find that you are on hold for an extended period of time, we do offer an offsite service called On Ramp.

On Ramp - This is an offsite service that Northside Gastronenterology utilizes for patients to leave a message instead of holding for the scheduling department. If a patient chooses this option an operator will answer their call and take down basic information, name, phone number and the reason for the call. This information is emailed to our scheduling department and someone will return your call in a quick and timely mannner. Please do not choose this option for same day cancellations, if you can not hold press zero (0) for the operator and they can connect you to someone that cancel the appointment.

Urgent calls - If you need to get through right away please do not hang up and try to call back, this only puts you at the end of the calling queue. We will do our best to answer your call as quickly as possible.
